1. First, the sense of hearing, to hear all the pleasant sounds of life.

2. Second, the sense of  smell, to smell the roses and garbage, and to know the difference.

3. Third, the sense of touch, to know hurt and healing.

4. Fourth, the sense of taste, to know victory and defeat and to learn from each.

5. Fifth, the sense of sight, to see the promise of dawn and the reassurance of  sunset.

6. Sixth, common sense, to know what is good and what is right and to be able to do them.

7. Seventh, a sense of humor, to take the other six and put them in perspective.
